PRECARIOUS WORK IN BRAZIL

PRECARIOUS WORK IN BRAZIL

The work reflects on the theme of precariousness, seeking to reach the state of its art. It focuses on precariousness in Brazil resulting from the exacerbation of the process of destructuring of the Brazilian labor market caused by the sharply competitive and exclusionary capitalist productive forces of the 21st century. To this end, it carries out a bibliographic and documentary review of its critical literature, which, while a well-executed
theoretical essay, is an excellent gateway into a research area, consisting of a complete map of its territory, pointing out and explaining its state. current situation, its theories, its founding concepts and its gaps. Furthermore, it uses the critical-dialectic method as the logical basis of its investigation and the hypothetical-deductive method as the basis of its thought structure. It argues that in the current socioeconomic situation, business combinations, as new production and work structures, take over not only the work but the lives of workers, reifying them, making them work in favor of their capitalist objectives, selfishly extracting all their strength and capabilities, often taking away their time for leisure, rest, spirituality, and even civic life, weakening their health. It concludes that: the worker is the weakest point in the employment relationship; worker health often suffers negative effects from economic precariousness (salary, benefits, bonuses, etc.), social (recognition, status , etc.) and environmental (unattainable goals, physical, biological and/or chemical risks, etc.) present in the organization of work; The problem of precariousness is old and new, macro and microsocial, the fight against which requires the adaptation of labor regulations to the current reality as
well as the restructuring of the supervisory system.
